Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an EKG Technician for a per diem, part-time role with rotating shifts. You will perform electrocardiograms, Holter monitoring, stress tests, and cardiac monitoring for inpatients and outpatients across campus locations.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, EKG tech experience, and BCLS certification, with strong technical and computer skills and good interpersonal abilities. Benefit details are outlined in the posting.

Qualifications

• BCLS certification.
• Technical aptitude and ability to learn ECG recording, medical terminology and other non-invasive cardiology testing; good interpersonal skills and computer knowledge.

• Process studies and keep equipment neat and clean.
• Work at either campus as required.

You would be responsible to perform electrocardiograms, holter monitors, stress test, cardiac monitoring, on inpatients and outpatients of all ages, as required and / or directed according to established standards and policies.

What you will do

• Responsible for processing studies. Position may require working at either campus.
• Keeps equipment neat and clean.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School graduate
• Previous EKG technician experience.
• Certification - BCLS
• Technical aptitude, ability to learn fundamentals of ECG recording, medical terminology and other non-invasive cardiology testing. Good interpersonal skills. Good computer knowledge base.

Pay Range: $18.70 - $28.05 per hour

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
