Qualifications

• Certified in electrocardiography preferred.

• Physically able to maneuver EKG cart through nursing units.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrocardiograms (EKGs) to produce recordings of heart’s electrical activity.
• Support the Cardiovascular Coordinator with accurate EKG results.
• Maintain competency in EKG procedures adapted for age-specific needs.
