Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA seeks an EKG Technician for a full-time night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with rotating weekends. You will perform EKGs, stress tests, Holter monitoring, and assist with nuclear stress tests, while ensuring equipment is cleaned and maintained and coordinating with physicians.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, EKG course preferred, and at least 1 year of EKG experience with BLS certification.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an EKG Technician to join our team for a full-time night shift position. Hours are 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with rotating weekends.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As an EKG Technician you will:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic cardiology procedures which will assist in the diagnosis of cardiac disease including: EKG’s, Stress Tests, Holter Monitoring, and assisting with Nuclear Stress Tests
• Perform routine cleaning, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to include coordination
• Perform and assists the physician with cardiac stress testing (treadmill and thallium)
• Apply Holter Monitoring, performs scanning, documents patient's results, and prepares reports for the physician

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• EKG Course is highly preferred

1 Year Of EKG Experience Is Highly Preferred

BLS (AHA or AMR) is required
