St.-Bernards-Healthcare seeks an ECG Technician to perform and document ECG tests with minimal supervision in a busy hospital setting.
The role requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to type 45 WPM. Training is provided on the job, and responsibilities include responding to emergencies and identifying cardiac rhythm issues as they arise.
Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years of age or older
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with courses in physical sciences preferred. Must be able to type at least 45 words per minute.
One month on-the-job training is provided under supervision of an experienced technician. Computer skills required.

Normal hospital environment. Close eye work. Hearing in normal and soft range. Operates EKG machine, computer, copier and fax. Frequent standing, walking, bending and stooping. Lifting, Carrying up to 40 lbs., occasional pushing/pulling up to 300 lbs.
Technician is responsible for conducting and recording ECG test results with minimal supervision. Most of the time spent performing the same work as others in department. Respond to emergency situations throughout workday. Makes judgments concerning cardiac dysrhythmias in emergency situations.
