Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. is seeking an EKG Technician for a remote, full-time role in Colorado Springs, CO. You will perform EKG tests, prepare equipment, and coordinate with physicians in a fast-paced clinical environment to support patient care.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, 1 year of EKG experience, current EKG certification, and strong patient communication skills. Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–5:00 pm with a full benefits package awaits.

• Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology.

• Ability to maintain accurate patient records.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to provide patient education on EKG procedures.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions of the Role:

• Perform EKG tests on patients as requested by physicians
• Analyze test results and provide necessary reports to physicians
• Set up and maintain EKG equipment
• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all EKG tests
• Prepare patients for EKG tests
• Educate patients and families about the EKG process
• Operate EKG machines, monitor, and interpret EKG readings
• Coordinate with other medical staff and provide necessary assistance
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the exam room
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols
• Place, maintain, monitor and process Cardiac Holter and Mobile Telemetry monitors

Minimum Qualifications:

This position is a remote position and will report to the office Monday- Friday from 6:30 am – 5:00 PM.

Physical Requirements

This position requires full range of body motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds.
