Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking personnel for the Non-Invasive Cardiac Laboratory, with duties including scheduling, documenting procedures, and maintaining patient confidentiality. The lab operates daily with early morning and daytime hours for inpatient ECGs and holter tests, and outpatient work by appointment between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Monday through Friday. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, BLS certification, and experience with EKGs and related cardiac testing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Able to type 35-40 wpm with accurate grammar.
• Knowledge of heart medications and clinical environment.
• Experience with nuclear treadmill stress tests, Dobutamine stress tests, holter monitor scanning, and pacemaker checks.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients, verify physician orders, and document scheduling.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate history before procedures.
• Fax reports to nursing floors and physicians offices as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to perform diagnostic procedures.
• Ensure procedures are read by the cardiologist and billed correctly.
