Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking an EKG Technician at Christian Hospital in St. Louis for full-time day shifts. The role supports the EKG department by conducting 12-lead EKGs and ensuring accurate documentation for charges, with no weekend or holiday work.

The EKG department performs testing that supplies the physician with data concerning the operation of the heart.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs a variety of procedures in cardiology including preparing patients for stress testing, EKGs, transcribing EKG interpretations, maintaining the EKG management system, Holter monitor hookups and disconnects, Holter checks, patient care and assessments in cardiopulmonary rehab, and assisting the cardiologists as necessary.
