Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in civil engineering.
• EIT/EI certification preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant engineering experience.
• Proficiency with civil design principles, codes, and standards.
• Experience with engineering software and drafting tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and preparation of civil site development plans for commercial and mixed-use projects.
• Perform site layout, earthwork calculations, and stormwater analyses.
• Assist with reports, exhibits, and documentation for zoning, entitlement, and permitting.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to support permitting and compliance.
• Prepare calculations and design deliverables under senior engineers.
• Utilize engineering software and drafting tools.
• Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Communicate technical information clearly in documents and drawings.
• Manage assigned tasks to meet schedules and quality.
• Participate in meetings and coordination efforts.
