Qcells Georgia, Inc. is seeking an EIS Associate Developer to build and operate a data pipeline for the solar product manufacturing line and perform end-to-end analysis from data gathering through visualization.

The role requires extracting data from multiple sources, creating efficient ETL processes, developing visualizations for engineers and technicians, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and operational reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, MIS, or related field.
• 3+ years of data engineer experience with multiple data sources (Oracle, SQL).
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and web applications.
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Define and extract high-volume manufacturing data from multiple sources and integrate into a target data store.
• Design and develop data visualizations for engineers and technicians.
• Develop ETL scripts for maintenance, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data quality and operational issues.

Summary

The EIS Associate Developer will build and operate a data pipeline for the solar product manufacturing line and conduct end-to-end analysis from data gathering, data processing, analysis and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Define and extract a high volume of manufacturing data from multiple sources and integrate data into a target database, application, or file using efficient programming processes
• Design and develop data visualizations to convey information to engineers and technicians
• Develop and implement scripts for ETL process maintenance, monitoring, and performance tuning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data quality and operational issues
• Maintain existing data pipelines and visualizations enhancement requests

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Industrial

Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field)

• 3+ years of prior experience as a data engineer or similar role
• Extensive experience working with various data sources (Oracle, SQL database)
• Experience in web applications tools (Java, Spring Boot, etc.)
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concept
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Industrial

Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field)

• 5+ years of prior experience as a data engineer or a similar role
• Experience in manufacturing industry such as solar PV or semiconductors
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Spotfire, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
• Experience in using statistical packages (Numpy, Scipy, Scikit‑learn) and Web framework (Django,
  

Flask) in Python

• Experience in the big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.)
