Job summary

The Boring Company is hiring for a Site Safety role at our Las Vegas, NV office. You will build a strong safety culture with mining and engineering staff and manage safety walks, hazard assessments, and SOP reviews.

Responsibilities include implementing LOTO programs, delivering basic EHS training, maintaining safety records, and collecting environmental data for compliance. The role requires strong organization, communication, and readiness to handle emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum 3 years or more of work experience in mining, construction, manufacturing, environment.
• Willingness to obtain First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with mining operations and engineering staff to foster safety culture.
• Perform site safety walks and job hazard assessments; review SOPs and practices for safety concerns.
• Develop and install safety signage, emergency evacuation maps, and safety one-pagers.
• Support lockout/tagout programs with labeling and training verification.
• Deliver basic training sessions and input data into the EHS database.
• Address, document, and support safety concerns at the mining site.
• Organize, file, and maintain safety documentation.
• Collect environmental data in the field to support compliance programs.
• Ensure documentation for incident reports; review and upload SDSs.
