Job summary

MEI Rigging & Crating seeks a Safety Specialist II to support, implement, and sustain environmental, health, and safety programs across our field operations in Mississippi. You will serve as a trusted safety resource, partnering with site leadership and field personnel to foster a proactive safety culture.

Responsibilities include conducting audits and incident investigations, delivering training, and coaching teams to integrate safety into daily work.

Qualifications

• Three years verifiable EH&S experience or similar role.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workers' comp.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Proactively executes MEI EHS policies and programs across sites.
• Coordinate and deliver required training (OSHA, Site Specific, etc.).
• Support design-in-safety, risk assessments, JHAs, investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Incident Review Board and site management on incidents.
