Illuminate USA, located in Central Ohio, is seeking an EHS Specialist to provide essential environmental, health, and safety support within its manufacturing facility in Pataskala. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance, protecting staff, and enhancing the company's safety culture.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Health and Safety, or equivalent work experience, alongside strong organizational and communication skills. This position is fully onsite and requires a commitment to 12-hour shifts.

EHS Specialist – Illuminate USA

Illuminate USA, located in Central Ohio, is a rapidly growing solar panel manufacturing company operating out of a 1.1million‑square‑foot facility in Pataskala. The EHS Specialist will provide environmental, health, and safety support to ensure compliance, protect staff, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Respond to immediate safety needs of the workforce.
• Provide initial response to EHS incidents and participate in incident review meetings.
• Monitor recycling and waste disposal activities.
• Coordinate facility‑wide EHS inspections and schedules.
• Help establish and grow the company’s safety culture through daily interaction with associates, actively listening and following through on projects.
• Ensure day‑to‑day compliance with EHS policies and regulations while focusing on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Health and Safety, or equivalent work experience (minimum 3years) for candidates without a degree.
• High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills at all organizational levels and with internal and external stakeholders.
• Positive attitude and proactive work habits.

Work Environment & Schedule

This role is fully onsite at the manufacturing facility and requires the ability to work a 12‑hour shift. The position involves lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 30–40lbs and frequent walking throughout the production floor, warehouse areas, and outdoor spaces.
