Job summary

CS Power Systems, a division of Canadian Solar, seeks an EHS Specialist in Mesquite, Texas. You will protect the environment and health and safety of our team, maintain metrics, and support compliance with corporate programs.

You will perform risk assessments, lead job hazard analyses, and recommend mitigation measures. Strong knowledge of OSHA rules and ISO 45001/14001 is preferred; 1–3 years of EHS experience is expected.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in an environmental health & safety (EHS) related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in EHS or related field required.
  • Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and related regulations is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily, weekly, monthly EHS metrics for onsite and corporate reporting.
  • Conduct risk assessments, Job Hazard Analyses, and evaluate new equipment introductions.
  • Recommend risk mitigation measures, including ergonomics and safety controls.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate programs and applicable laws, regulations, and ISO standards.
