Medial Group in Humacao, Puerto Rico, is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety professional to develop and implement programs that meet governmental requirements on-site.

The role requires at least 2 years in ergonomic assessments, Lockout/Tagout, and EHS validation, plus a Bachelor's in Engineering. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply; weekend work may be required.

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years of experience in ergonomic assessments, lockout/tagout, and EHS validation in regulated industries.
• Bachelor degree in Engineering completed.
• Bilingual.

Develops, administers and implements environmental programs in accordance with governmental requirements. Depending on position location, may monitor pollution prevention activities, compliance and auditing efforts. Conducts studies and prepares environmental impact reports for new construction projects, plant processes and permit changes. Reviews and analyzes environmental documentation issued by the federal EPA, state and local regulatory agencies. Evaluates proposed regulations to determine financial, industrial, public and environmental impact. Interacts with federal, state and local regulators to resolve compliance issues; establishes permit requirements and assists in EPA, state and local regulatory audits. Represents Company in government and industry rule making activities. Ensures appropriate corrective action is taken where environmental, health, and safety hazards exist. May provide/promote employee awareness/training on matters of environmental, health, and safety.

• Other duties maybe assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in Ergonomic Assessments, Logout, Tagout and EHS Validation Assessments in the regulated industry.
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering completed.
• Bilingual.
• Willing to work 100% on-Site in Humacao and available to work on weekends when is necessary.
