Precision Castparts seeks an Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist to uphold health, safety and environmental compliance at the Garden Grove facility. The role collaborates with management, staff and contractors, implementing programs and policies to meet federal and internal health and safety standards.

Performs Environmental, Health & Safety functions at the company plant, by performing the following duties.
The Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist assists in maintaining the health, safety and environmental compliance at the facility. They will interact with the Management Team, employees and contractors/ vendors, under the guidance of the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager. The EHS Specialist will be responsible for the implementation of programs, policies, and assessments to ensure their company is in compliance with all federal and internal health and safety rules. They may also review reports and findings to monitor performance and detect trends related to health and safety.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, OSHA/EPA regulations or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and Microsoft office proficient. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of vendors, and the general public.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
