Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professional to support implementing programs and collaborating with teams to identify risks and improve safety across projects.

You will monitor compliance with EHS protocols, lead training, and prepare reports while communicating policies to promote engagement and safe practices on site. 2–4 years in EHS and OSHA 30-hour are preferred for candidates applying.

Qualifications

• Requires 2–4 years in EHS within industrial, manufacturing, construction or related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction training required.
• Preferred: First Aid/CPR/AED/Naloxone, STSC, OSHA 500.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and non-routine site inspections and risk assessments independently, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
• Assist in the development and delivery of standard EHS training for staff.
• Maintains accurate records of incidents, inspections, and compliance activities.
• Supports investigations of incidents independently by gathering data and preparing reports.
• Monitors the safe management of specific project strategies to ensure safe practices.
• Communicates EHS policies and procedures to promote understanding and compliance.
• Participates in team meetings to share insights and support safety initiatives.

Job Summary

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or associates degree in environmental science, occupational health, safety management, a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.

Work Experience

2 - 4 years of experience in EHS roles within industrial, manufacturing, construction, or a related field required.

Certifications and Licences

• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Construction training required.
• First Aid (FA) certification, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification, or Naloxone Administration (Narcan) certification preferred.
• Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC) certification preferred.
• OSHA 500 preferred.
