The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety/Environmental Health & Safety or related field and a minimum of 3 years of EHS experience, including incident investigations, risk assessments, safety

Responsibilities

• Conduct incident investigations, support root cause analysis, and track corrective actions through completion.
• Perform safety inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and risk evaluations across operations.
• Support equipment installations, maintenance activities, construction projects, and contractor safety programs.
• Deliver EHS training, compliance support, and continuous improvement initiatives to promote a safe work environment.

As an EHS Specialist, you will be part of the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) team supporting Manufacturing, Facilities, Operations, Contractors, and Project Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: EHS Specialist
Location: Bloomington, MN
Pay Range:$37.58 - $40.17/hr

What's the Job?

• Provide day-to-day EHS support and maintain a visible field presence for employees, contractors, supervisors, and project teams.
• Conduct incident investigations, support root cause analysis, and track corrective actions through completion.
• Perform safety inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and risk evaluations across manufacturing and facilities operations.
• Support equipment installations, maintenance activities, construction projects, and contractor safety programs.
• Deliver EHS training, compliance support, and continuous improvement initiatives to promote a safe work environment.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in occupational safety, EHS, manufacturing safety, industrial safety, or a related field.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, risk assessments, safety audits, inspections, and corrective action management.
• Working knowledge of OSHA General Industry regulations and contractor safety practices.
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
