Job summary

Is-International-Services in Alpharetta, GA seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to support site EHS activities and quality tasks. The role involves conducting inspections, coordinating training, and maintaining records to promote Zero Harm and continuous improvement.

You will work with manufacturing, testing, engineering, quality, and leadership teams to strengthen compliance and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health and Safety, Engineering, Quality, Industrial Technology or equivalent preferred.
• Strong practical EHS knowledge with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to read technical drawings, checklists, and inspection requirements for cabinet manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily EHS walk-downs, inspections, safety observations, and housekeeping reviews across areas.
• Verify PPE requirements are understood, available, and followed by personnel and visitors.
• Facilitate and document Job Safety Analysis discussions before high-risk activities.
• Support hazard identification, risk assessments, corrective actions, incident follow-up and lessons learned.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including drills and first responder coordination.
• Plan and support safety stand-downs, toolbox talks, and training refreshers.
• Maintain EHS records, training logs, inspection checklists, and action trackers.
• Support contractor and vendor safety coordination and documentation verification.
• Perform quality control cabinet inspections and verify conformance to drawings and specs.
• Produce and maintain quality documentation and reports for reviews and audits.
• Collaborate with Environmental, Quality, Health and Safety, Manufacturing, and Project teams to drive improvements.
