Job summary

DCS Corp seeks an Environmental Health and Safety Officer to lead safety across 19 facilities and enforce a culture of safety. You will implement policies, manage budgets, and coordinate with HR and Legal on incidents. The role requires strong training, auditing, and vendor coordination skills, with emphasis on regulatory compliance.

Experience in environmental health and safety, risk mitigation, and working with leadership is essential for shaping a proactive safety program at DCS Corp.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to sensitive customer requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years in environmental science/health, safety or related field.
• Certifications: ASP, CSP, OHST or similar.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fire safety, health, and OSHA compliance across facilities.
• Draft and implement safety policies and documentation.
• Administer safety audits and track corrective actions.
• Provide safety training to employees and maintain LMS content.
• Coordinate with HR/Legal on safety incidents and regulatory matters.
• Manage safety budgets, programs and vendor relations.
• Prepare weekly reports and maintain digital filing systems.
