Job summary

Siemens Fort Worth, TX is seeking an EHS Operator for 1st shift (7:00am–4:00pm). You will support site EHS performance, conduct inspections and training to improve safety and regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the EHS Manager, you must have a High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years in an EHS role in Manufacturing/Warehouse. Proficiency with Outlook and MS Office and the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization are required.

  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and work with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support OSHA, EPA, and local regulations adherence.
  • Conduct safety inspections, hazard assessments, and environmental monitoring; document findings and actions.
  • Assist investigations of incidents and near misses; gather data and track corrective actions.
  • Deliver safety trainings, toolbox talks, and new hire orientation on EHS topics.
  • Maintain EHS records, generate metrics, and prepare leadership/regulatory reports.
  • Support PPE compliance, waste management, lockout/tagout, and emergency preparedness.

The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.

We are looking for an EHS Operator – 1st Shift (7:00am - 4:00pm) to join our team! This position reports to the EHS Manager in our new and growing Fort Worth, TX facility, and supports cross-functional teams and EHS committees to improve site EHS performance and compliance.
You’ll make a difference by:
  • Support: Assist in maintaining compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • & Audits: Conduct routine workplace safety inspections, hazard assessments, and environmental monitoring; document findings and recommend corrective actions.
  • Response: Support investigations of workplace incidents, near misses, and environmental releases; gather data, assist with root cause analysis, and track corrective actions.
  • & Communication: Deliver or assist with safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and new hire orientation on EHS topics.
  • & Reporting: Maintain accurate EHS records, compile metrics, and prepare reports for leadership and regulatory agencies as required.
  • Implementation: Support initiatives such as PPE compliance, waste management, lockout/tagout, hazard communication, confined space entry, and emergency preparedness.
  • Improvement: Participate in projects aimed at reducing risk, improving ergonomics, or enhancing environmental sustainability efforts.

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2+ years of successful experience in an Assembly/Manufacturing/Warehouse or related field in an EHS role.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and work optimally with all levels of the organization.
  • Able to work 1st Shift hours: (7:00am - 4:00pm)
  • Well organized and efficient task execution.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and general safety practices.
  • Proficient computer skills including Outlook and MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 (diploma required) and work knowledge of OSHA, EPA and local regulations and reporting.
  • Strong writing capabilities, especially with clear writing, concise EHS procedures.
  • Certified Safety Specialist (CSP) certification, Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM) certification.
  • Previous Union Settings.
