Job summary

BearCat Manufacturing is seeking an EHS Operations Lead to coordinate and drive Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives across our manufacturing site. The role acts as the lead resource for EHS practices, partnering with operations to promote safety, reduce risk, and advance continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in EHS or related operations, strong knowledge of OSHA requirements, and proven leadership in safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of EHS, safety, or related operational experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and EHS compliance requirements.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership in driving safety initiatives and promoting accountability across teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support EHS programs, policies, and compliance initiatives.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns, recommending corrective actions.
• Facilitate safety training, onboarding, and awareness programs for members.
• Maintain EHS records, documentation, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Monitor safety performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with operational leaders to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Lead EHS projects and continuous improvement efforts.
• Serve as a subject matter resource for EHS-related questions and best practices.
• Support emergency preparedness and response activities.
