Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking an experienced Facility EHS Manager to lead the facility's safety, health, and environmental activities. You will drive a zero-harm safety culture and ensure full regulatory compliance across OSHA, EPA, and company standards.

The role involves guiding the facility team, developing the annual Safety Plan, and maintaining comprehensive safety documentation to support operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, environment or related field or relevant work experience equivalent to a degree
• Minimum 5 years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret governmental safety and environmental regulations (i.e., OSHA)
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
• Excellent organizational and independent work abilities

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and OBE requirements, programs, and regulations.
• Maintain company safety/environment records in accordance with federal, state, local, and company requirements.
• Oversee and improve facility safety initiatives and develop the annual Safety Plan.
• Coordinate safety documentation for the facility (JSAs, Machine Guarding & PPE Assessments, New Equipment Evaluations).
• Review and ensure proper updating of Facility Written Programs (LOTO, PIT, Hazcom, etc).

The Facility EHS Manager is responsible for leading and managing the facility’s safety, health, and environmental activities to build a strong safety culture with zero harm focus and full compliance with all government regulations and company requirements.

Job responsibilities include:

• Ensure compliance with all pertinent OSHA, EPA and OBE requirements, programs, and regulations.


• Maintain company’s database and all other safety and environmental-related records in accordance with all federal, state, local, and company requirements.


• Oversee, evaluate, and continuously improve facility safety initiatives to ensure compliance with all applicable standards and to build a strong safety culture. This would include but not limited to: Supporting the annual Safety Plan development.


• Coordinating required safety documentation for the facility (JSAs, Machine Guarding & PPE Assessments, New Equipment Evaluations, etc.)


• Reviewing and ensuring proper updating and compliance of Facility Written Programs (LOTO, PIT, Hazcom, etc)

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, environment or related field or relevant work experience equivalent to a degree


• Minimum 5 years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment.


• Ability to read and interpret governmental safety and environmental regulations (i.e., OSHA)


• Personality, presence, and confidence to lead meetings, and coach peers & leaders.


• Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently prioritizing work to achieve deliverables.
