Job summary

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, train, and lead safety, security, health and environmental programs across the plant.
• Lead safety culture strategies and actions.
• Develop and drive activities focusing on injury avoidance, regulatory compliance and countermeasures.
• Establish and lead team member involvement activities in safety and wellness.
• Identify safety training needs and coordinate training programs.
• Develop EHS policies and administer company procedures.
• Collaborate with manufacturing leaders to resolve safety issues.
• Monitor injuries and workers' compensation claims.
• Manage daily EHS activities and communication with department managers.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety or related field

5+ years professional experience in EHS

3+ years management experience

Strong communication skills

Strong problem-solving skill with a focus on continuous improvement
