Job summary

SAVI EHS is actively seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager for an immediate opening supporting a large-scale Data Center Construction Project in Aldie, Virginia. This role involves leading EHS compliance, conducting inspections, trainings, and overseeing high-risk construction activities to promote a zero-incident safety culture.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of construction EHS experience, OSHA 500/510 certification, and strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of construction EHS experience.
  • Data center or large-scale construction preferred.
  • OSHA 500 or 510 certification required.
  • Strong communication and field leadership.
  • Proficiency with safety management platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Environmental, Health & Safety compliance efforts across the project site.
  • Conduct and document daily safety inspections, audits, and field observations.
  • Facilitate site-specific safety orientations and ongoing training programs.
  • Support crane activities and other high-risk construction operations.
  • Participate in and review Daily Hazard Analyses (DHAs), Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and work planning activities.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns while implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Partner with project leadership to maintain a strong safety culture and achieve project safety objectives.
  • Monitor subcontractor and trade partner compliance with project safety requirements.
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of site-specific EHS plans and initiatives.
