Job summary

Intermedia Group Inc. is seeking an EHS Manager with air and water permitting experience for our Mapleton, Illinois facility. This role offers relocation assistance and a strong focus on air compliance, water regulations and hazardous waste management.

You will lead environmental initiatives, mentor teams and apply EHS expertise across regulatory areas to enhance compliance and performance at the site.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of EHS policies and the ability to implement EHS policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of risk assessment tools and risk management across diverse situations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of individuals and groups.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve operational issues.
• Understanding of sustainability strategy and integrating sustainability into business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor personnel in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) activities at a large Mapleton facility.
• Apply expertise across air compliance and air permitting, drinking water, wastewater and hazardous waste regulations.
• Monitor performance, identify hazards, audit programs and drive improvements.
• Develop EHS capability through leadership and training for employees and leaders.
• Support responsible operations with policy compliance, risk management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Identify hazards, ensure EHS training, audit programs, and monitor trends for improvements.
