Our team delivers the crystal‑clear, mission‑critical transparencies that protect pilots, enhance performance, and elevate the aviation experience for customers around the world. If you're driven by innovation, energized by complex manufacturing, and inspired by the idea of supporting aircraft that soar through the stratosphere, this is your opportunity to join a team where your impact is as bold and far‑reaching as the skies we help navigate.

We are seeking an EHS Manager to lead a robust Environmental Health and Safety program for the facility. You will be based onsite at the Huntsville location and report to the Aerospace Sr. EHS Leader.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day to day EHS program execution and serve as the primary point of contact for all site EHS matters.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, FAA, and all applicable environmental and safety regulations.
  • Drive hazard identification, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Strengthen safety culture through coaching, mentoring, and development of an EHS team (2–3 direct reports); manage people, processes, and performance.
  • Deliver training on chemical safety, LOTO, PPE, ergonomics, emergency response, and aerospace specific risks.
  • Manage and continuously improve the site EHS management system, documentation, and audit readiness.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to integrate EHS into daily processes, new products, and equipment changes.
  • Lead emergency preparedness planning and ensure effective incident response and trend analysis.
  • Use EHS data and analytics to drive continuous improvement and support proactive risk communication.
  • Influence site leadership and align the organization around critical EHS priorities.
Qualifications
  • Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree or professional certifications (CSP, CIH, CHMM) are a plus.
  • 8+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing, aerospace, chemicals, or other highly regulated industrial environments, with a proven record of managing compliance programs and reducing risk.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regulatory requirements, including hazardous materials management, environmental permitting, waste handling, emissions control, and workplace safety standards.
  • Strong working knowledge of incident investigation methodologies, hazard analysis techniques (JHA, PHA, MOC), inspection and audit protocols, and workers' compensation processes.
  • Demonstrated success driving change management, implementing new EHS programs, and elevating safety culture through influence, engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proven ability to build strong cross‑functional partnerships with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and HR to integrate EHS expectations into daily operations and strategic decisions.
  • Prior experience leading or supervising EHS professionals, with the ability to coach and develop technical talent while holding teams accountable to performance standards.
  • Advanced communication skills are necessary to influence, inform, and collaborate. Must be comfortable presenting complex information to executives and non-technical audiences with clarity and authority.
  • Demonstrated experience using EHS metrics, performance dashboards, and trend analysis to identify risks and drive data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Proficiency in EHS Management Systems and familiarity with digital reporting tools or enterprise EHS platforms.
