Saronic Technologies Inc. is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Intern to support our mission of creating a healthy and safe environment for our employees and community.

You will gain exposure to the development and implementation of EHS programs across engineering labs, manufacturing spaces, shipyards, and maritime testing operations. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and facilities teams to help maintain a safe workplace and support compliance, with

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program related to EHS.
• Interest in manufacturing, robotics, maritime systems, or defense tech environments.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA standards and hazard identification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining EHS policies, procedures, and training materials.
• Conduct workplace health & safety inspections and hazard/risk assessments in laboratories, manufacturing, shipyard, field activities, and test environments.
• Support incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
• Help maintain OSHA compliance documentation, SDS, and chemical inventories.
• Assist with environmental compliance efforts across air, water, hazardous materials, and waste management programs.
• Support creation of EHS training programs for employees and interns.
• Track and analyze EHS metrics and performance data.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure safe design and testing practices.
• Support regulatory reports, inspections, information requests, internal audits, emergency drills, and program development.
