Job summary

ABEC, a leading biopharmaceutical equipment supplier, seeks an EHS Intern in Springfield, MO. You will support the Environmental, Health & Safety team through project-based assignments and daily activities in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Strong communication abilities and written skills.
• Comfortable with data analysis and reporting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to develop and maintain a project plan.
• Familiarity with safety concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist EHS team with project tasks and daily activities.
• Collaborate with site manufacturing teams to identify hazards and risks.
• Provide updates on project status and milestones to sponsors.
• Support or lead safety audits, inspections, and training initiatives.
• Coordinate updates for US and Ireland sites as needed.
