Job summary

MiSide Community Impact Network seeks a full-time Early Childhood Educator to design and implement a program of educational activities for children aged 0-5, fostering age-appropriate growth across multiple domains. You will help ensure safety, emotional security, and supportive interactions in a nurturing classroom environment.

You will collaborate with the teacher assistant to plan daily programming using the Creative Curriculum, document COR data gains, and maintain individualized learning

Qualifications

• Associates or CDA in Early Childhood Education/Child Development required.
• Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development preferred.
• Bachelor degree and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily activities reflect the program's mission and goals.
• Assist children in need of special attention with individualized support as needed.
• Maintain physical safety and emotional security of the children.
• Collaborate with the teacher assistant to plan and implement daily preschool programming.
• Create a clean, safe learning environment promoting social relationships.
• Plan and document Child Outcome activities and COR data gains each quarter.
• Develop and update individual learning plans for each child.
• Write weekly lesson plans with daily schedules and curriculum goals.
• Promote security and trust for infants and toddlers through warmth and care.

The employee fulfilling this job is expected to complete assignments with a high standard of accuracy, attention to detail, and timely completion of work.
