Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division seeks an EHS-Facilities Manager based in Olean, NY. The role leads EHS processes and facilities activities to foster a culture focused on zero incidents and robust safety practices.

Relocation is offered. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of EHS experience, with strong leadership and regulatory expertise to drive site performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years of EHS experience
• Relocation benefits offered within 50 miles of Olean, NY
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future
• Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees and manufacturing/robotics experience

Responsibilities

• Lead the management of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) processes and facilities activities at Eaton’s Olean, NY sites.
• Assign and support MESH element champions and engage ownership.
• Create and maintain training matrices and track completion.
• Ensure key EHS operational controls are in place and action items are resolved timely.
• Conduct annual regulatory compliance evaluations for EHS laws and permits.
• Develop and implement EHS strategic initiatives in alignment with corporate goals.
• Lead investigations of incidents and near-misses and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain EHS metrics and post site roadmap and action plans.
• Oversee Security contracts and support monthly security inspections.
