Job summary

JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking an EHS&S and Facilities Specialist to lead regional safety and sustainability initiatives onsite in Greenville and Liberty, SC. You will drive safety culture, manage EHS and facilities projects, and partner with global teams to align with corporate standards.

The role focuses on implementing safety programs, audits, and training, with a goal to advance carbon neutrality and waste reduction by 2030.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in EHS or related field required.
Minimum three years’ experience in environmental health, facilities management, safety, security, maintenance, and space management.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S is preferred.
CFM, CSP, or sustainability certification preferred.
Advanced PC and organizational skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead regional efforts to foster a proactive and positive safety culture across manufacturing and office environments.
Independently manage EHS, Sustainability, and Facilities initiatives while collaborating with regional and the Global EHS, Sustainability and Facility team.
Implement and continuously improve safety programs that align with corporate standards and local regulatory requirements.
Serve as the regional subject matter expert for environmental, health, and safety compliance.
Drive employee engagement through impactful safety training and awareness campaigns.
Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify and mitigate hazards.
