Job summary

Textron Aviation seeks an EHS Engineer to design, advise, and assist with Environmental Health and Safety programs across manufacturing teams. You’ll ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EPA/OSHA regulations and corporate policies.

You will implement safety policies, lead investigations, provide training, and drive ergonomic reviews while coordinating with cross-functional teams to promote a strong EHS culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in Environmental Health and Safety or related field.
• Experience in Environmental Compliance, Safety, Health Management, Engineering, or Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement general safety and environmental policies complying with EPA/OSHA rules.
• Attend corporate EHS meetings and relay updates to leadership.
• Lead safety upgrades and address health and safety challenges.
• Lead/assist cross-functional teams to embed EHS practices.
• Investigate injuries/illnesses and recommend preventive actions.
• Conduct ergonomic reviews and preliminary investigations.
• Provide safety training and technical EHS support.
• Engage with industry EHS groups and programs.
