Job summary

Bay Cities is seeking an Environmental & Safety Coordinator for 2nd shift in California. Under minimal supervision, you will lead all EHS programs across our offices and plant, ensuring OSHA compliance and a safe work environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in EHS or related field, 2 years of manufacturing safety experience, and strong communication. OT may be required; bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree related to the EHS field or commensurate experience.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience, at least 2 years as a Safety Coordinator or Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator.
• Knowledge of OSHA Standards and Compliance.
• Familiarity with air permitting, spill prevention control and countermeasure plans, wastewater/storm water discharge permits, storage tank regulations, Emergency Planning, and waste disposal regulations.
• Strong technical and organizational skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with DMV evidence of good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead Environmental and Safety programs across Bay Cities.
• Ensure office and plant safety in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Educate staff on health and safety policies and best practices.
• Prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
• Inspect facilities and identify hazards and EHS violations.
• Implement new health and safety protocols and measures.
• Monitor operations and document incidents and health and safety manuals.
