We are seeking an EHS Coordinator to support large-scale, mission-critical data center construction projects in the DFW area. This is a highly visible, field-focused safety role supporting complex electrical and mechanical construction environments.

You’ll spend approximately 70–80% of your time in the field, working directly with subcontractors, foremen, and trade partners to identify hazards, implement controls, and ensure safety requirements are being followed.

This is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional who enjoys being hands-on in the field, building relationships with the trades, and playing an active role in maintaining a safe, high-performing construction site.

What You’ll Do
  • Spend the majority of your time in the field conducting safety observations and engaging with trade partners
  • Work directly with subcontractors and foremen to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  • Review AHAs/JHAs and contractor safety documentation
  • Review upcoming high-risk activities and verify appropriate controls are in place
  • Identify potential hazards before work begins and ensure corrective actions are addressed
  • Conduct and participate in daily safety activities and site safety reviews
  • Participate in new-hire and site safety orientations
  • Help implement and maintain client-specific safety requirements
  • Monitor compliance with project safety programs and expectations
  • Build strong relationships with subcontractors and trade partners while maintaining accountability to safety standards
  • Collaborate closely with the EHS Manager, Superintendents, Project Managers, and project leadership
Project Environment

The projects are large-scale mission-critical data center builds with significant electrical and mechanical scope. Individual sites may have 1,000+ trade workers onsite, creating a fast-paced and highly technical construction environment.

The project incorporates a comprehensive, client-driven safety program, requiring the EHS team to work closely with the client, contractors, and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate is highly visible in the field, comfortable working directly with the trades, and able to develop strong working relationships while still holding teams accountable.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in EHS/Safety within large-scale construction
  • Strong field presence and hands-on construction safety experience
  • Experience working directly with subcontractors, foremen, and trade partners
  • Experience reviewing and enforcing safety programs
  • Experience with AHAs/JHAs and high-risk activity planning
  • Strong hazard identification and mitigation skills
  • Experience working within a client-driven safety program
  • Electrical safety experience strongly preferred
  • Mission-critical, data center, industrial, or similarly complex construction experience is a plus
  • Experience supporting large-scale sites with 1,000+ trade workers is highly valued
Qualifications & Certifications
  • OSHA 30 required
  • OSHA 100–300 preferred
  • NFPA 70E training/certification preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Safety, or a related field is a plus
  • CSP is not required for this position
