Job summary

Novelis Bay Minette, AL is seeking EHS Coordinators to support environmental, health, and safety programs across manufacturing and central services. You will help ensure regulatory compliance, maintain safety records, coordinate trainings, and assist with reporting to create a safe and compliant work environment.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in industrial manufacturing, familiarity with OSHA regulations, and a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; degrees preferred.
• 2-4 years experience in an industrial/heavy manufacturing environment.
• Experience in EHS, compliance or manufacturing support.
• Familiarity with OSHA, First Aid, and other industrial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize EHS records and documentation including reports, data tracking, and meetings/training coordination.
• Support and update EHS policies and procedures ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Assist in incident reporting and follow-up documentation.
• Conduct basic safety inspections, waste tracking and basic environmental tasks.
• Support LOTO, Confined Space, Machine Guarding, and PPE programs and coordinate safety trainings.

The Novelis Bay Minette, AL team is looking for EHS Coordinators. The selected candidates will provide support the environmental, health, and safety programs of manufacturing areas and central services to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. This role works closely with employees, management, and external agencies to minimize risks and enhance workplace safety. Additionally, this role will help maintain safety records, track compliance activities, coordinate training sessions, and assist with reporting and documentation to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and organize EHS records and documentation including preparing reports, tracking key safety and environmental data, and coordinating meetings, safety committees, and training sessions.
• Support and continuously update EHS policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Assist in incident reporting and follow-up documentation
• Conduct basic safety inspections, support waste disposal tracking and basic environmental compliance tasks.
• Support Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space, Machine Guarding, and PPE compliance program, and coordinate employee safety training and toolbox talks, ensuring all personnel understand workplace safety requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required, Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2-4 years experience in an industrial/heavy manufacturing environment
• Experience in EHS, compliance or manufacturing support
• Familiarity with OSHA, First Aid, and other industrial regulations.
