This position will be available at the New Johnsonville Plant location in New Johnsonville, TN.The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:* Provide leadership, guidance, technical problem solving, training, and implementation support for permitting requirements and compliance at high hazard chemical operations. Permitting needs include those related to solid waste, wastewater, domestic water, stormwater, spill control, and air.* Interface with all site employees, corporate resources, regulatory agencies, unit operations, and be an active member of the site leadership team.* Work to improve systems, procedures, processes, individual capability, and ownership around environmental and process safety management* Develop systems to manage environmental programs across the site* Participate in and facilitate incident investigations as required* Review regulatory briefs when related to EHS and anticipate impact* Use a wide range of laboratory equipment, instruments, and perform calculations, preliminary analysis, and field monitoring and sampling.
