Lil' Drug Store Products in Cedar Rapids is seeking an EHS and Facilities Manager to lead the company safety program, oversee environmental compliance, and supervise facilities management. This role works with minimal direction and coordinates with all departments on safety, environmental and facilities matters.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years in safety programs and EHS leadership, a working knowledge of OSHA and FDA rules, and experience auditing facilities.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Four-year degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
• Safety certification such as OSHA 30 or ASP/CSP preferred.

• Develop and maintain written safety programs, documentation, training, and educate the workforce on accident prevention, regulations and procedures.
• Supervise day-to-day maintenance of buildings, grounds, and facilities systems, and manage facilities projects such as racking moves, parking lot work, storage changes, and expansion planning.
• Oversee site facilities staff and set their priorities, and manage contractors and service providers, including scheduling, scope, and follow-up.
• Manage site security and emergency preparedness, including cameras, badge access, visitor sign-in, alarm monitoring, fire systems, and storm sheltering.
• Perform inspections/audits of facilities, equipment, processes, and recommend corrective actions or additional precautions to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Investigate safety and environmental incidents, and track corrective actions, environmental permitting, and required documentation.
• Serve as the primary contact for external auditors and inspectors.
• Prepare and present reports on trends/issues, support process improvements, and develop/manage facilities and safety budget requests, including capital projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum of five years of experience in safety programs and EHS management
• Proven knowledge of auditing standards/procedures, OSHA, and FDA rules and regulations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking programs
• Facilities and/or maintenance experience preferred
• Safety certification, such as OSHA 30 or ASP/CSP, preferred
