BJC HealthCare is seeking an EHR Application III Analyst with Epic Cadence certification (or related modules such as RTE, Prelude, Cupid) for a remote role serving states in the US. The candidate will join a large nonprofit health care system with extensive hospital network and community services.

The role focuses on planning, implementing, testing, and maintaining Epic and other clinical applications, collaborating with leadership and users, and handling advanced configuration tasks.

Qualifications

• Epic certifications in Cadence or related modules (RTE/Prelude/Cupid) within 6 months of hire.
• Remote position with eligibility for US states.
• Bachelor's degree required; high school diploma or GED accepted with experience.

BJC is hiring for an EHR Application III Analyst. Must be Epic certified in Cadence. We will also consider Epic certification in RTE, Prelude, or Cupid. This is a remote position. Remote eligible states:

Responsibilities

Under little direction, the EHR Application Analyst III is responsible for planning, analyzing, designing, implementing, testing, debugging, and maintaining Epic & other Clinical applications. Builds collaborative relationships with hospital leadership, clinical department users, technology and other corporate departments to facilitate usage and acceptance of the system. This individual will be assigned to more complex build and configuration tasks and resolve advanced issues which could include unknown or undefined requirements and business objectives. Epic or applicable certifications will be required within 6 months of hire.

Takes technical responsibility across all stages and iterations of configuration development and deployment. Plans and drives software configuration activities. Adopts and adapts appropriate software configuration methods, tools and techniques. Measures and monitors the application of standards for configuration design and deployment. Drives investigation and resolution of issues relating to applications. Maintains application support processes, and checks that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures. Uses application management software and tools to investigate issues, collect performance statistics and create reports. Provides authoritative advice and guidance on test planning and execution. Adopts and adapts appropriate testing methods, automated tools and techniques to solve problems in tools and testing approaches. Manages user experience evaluation of systems, products, services or devices. Develops, maintains and tests incident management procedures in agreement with service owners. Investigates escalated, non-routine and high-impact incidents to responsible service owners and seeks resolution. Ensures that resolved incidents are properly documented and closed. May be part of an after-hours on-call rotation.
