Job summary

Elevated Facility Services is looking for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to oversee the development and implementation of safety policies and programs. This role ensures a safe and compliant work environment and involves conducting inspections, developing training programs, and managing compliance with OSHA and environmental standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and strong expertise in environmental regulations. The position is located in Chester, New Jersey.

The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and programs that ensure a safe, compliant, and healthy work environment for all employees.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• None

Safety & Compliance

• Conduct facility inspections to identify environmental, health, and safety risks.
• Develop, implement, and maintain inspection procedures and schedules.
• Monitor compliance with all applicable safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA and environmental standards.

Program Development & Training

• Create and implement comprehensive health and safety procedures across all business units.
• Develop and deliver training programs on:
  • Emergency response
  • Workplace safety
  • Regulatory compliance
• Promote a strong safety culture through education and engagement.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare detailed inspection reports and document findings.
• Maintain accurate records of:
  • Hazardous material usage and exposure.
  • Waste discharge and environmental compliance.
• Ensure Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are current and readily accessible.

Additional Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety and environmental performance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

• OSHA certification/training strongly preferred.
