Job summary

Daybreak Foods, Inc. is seeking a Processing Line Worker in our egg processing facility in Michigan. Under the direction of the Processing Supervisor, you will perform various tasks to ensure the highest quality product possible.

Responsibilities include maintaining food safety and quality by following HACCP, SQF, cGMP and USDA standards; moving eggs through washer and breaking areas; cleaning, performing chemical checks, and supporting shifts with cleanup.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or processing.
• Knowledge of safety programs and procedures (e.g., Confined Space, LOTO, HazCom).
• Ability to operate processing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain food safety and quality by following HACCP, SQF, cGMP and regulatory protocols.
• Grade eggs and ensure proper transfer between belts and stations.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas; manage washer and transfer processes.
• Perform chemical checks, foam control in washers, and assist re-wash of eggs.
• Assist during breaks and cleanup; meet USDA standards in breaking, transfer, and shell rooms.
