Metro Diner Jacksonville is hiring for Egg / Breakfast Cooks to join our day and night shifts. Previous breakfast cook experience is preferred.

You will operate the griddle and fry stations, prep ingredients, and ensure meals meet Metro Diner quality standards while keeping a clean workstation. Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant with full service breakfast is preferred.
• You will help work the griddle, fry, egg, prep & line stations.
• Must follow Metro Diner recipes and maintain clean, organized stations.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook breakfast items to Metro Diner recipes.
• Assist with station setup, prep, and line cooking.
• Keep work area clean and meet portion sizes and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team to meet productivity and guest service goals.

• The willingness to comply with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies and procedures
• The ability to maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
• The understanding that proactively restocking food items reduces ticket times
• The motivation to consistently adhere to company productivity and labor goals

You Might Also Have

• Experience as a Cook in a fast-paced work environment
• Skills in communicating with fellow Cooks and other Team Members to ensure orders are produced efficiently with minimal ticket time
• Knowledge of proper rotation of inventory and FIFO system
• Working experience in organizing and labeling shelves, equipment, and ingredients
• Motivation to seek cross-training and professional development in other functional areas
