Job summary

H-E-B is seeking an eFulfillment Center Route Driver to operate an H-E-B vehicle, deliver and unload Customer orders from the eFulfillment Center to H-E-B eStores. You will ensure merchandise arrives safely, on time, and damage-free so customers receive accurate orders.

You will also monitor vehicle cleanliness and maintenance, adhere to safety rules, and follow routes as directed. Experience driving and customer service are valued in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent driving record - Required.
• No suspended or revoked driver's licenses, permits, or privileges in any state/county - Required.
• No moving violations or preventable accidents in the past 3 years - Required.
• No DWI, DUI, or related convictions - Required.
• No felony convictions - Required.
• Pass a background screening and MVR check at entry and periodically - Required.

Responsibilities

• Gathers appropriate paperwork for deliveries; uses manifest to ensure efficient route and schedule.
• Completes / documents inspection of vehicle per requirements (pre- / post-trip).
• Responsible for content, condition, and securing of cargo within truck for delivery.
• Delivers product to Store locations accurately, safely, and on time.
• Unloads customer orders at Store locations.
• Adheres to traffic / safety laws and H-E-B policies.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle; reports maintenance problems.
• Returns reusable items.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• Completes / documents inspection of vehicle per requirements (e.g., pre- / post-trip)

• Unloads customer orders at Store locations
• Adheres to traffic / safety laws and H-E-B policies
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle; reports maintenance problems

Physical Demands & Working Conditions
