Job summary

Mattress Firm Inc. in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily order fulfillment and store replenishment at our distribution center. You’ll load/unload deliveries, stage shipments, inspect products, and keep the warehouse organized and safe.

This role requires a High School diploma (preferred) and 1+ year warehouse experience. Strong communication, attention to detail, and safe operation of warehouse equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of general warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge of PIT equipment and safety inspection.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products from delivery trucks and vendor shipments.
• Stage deliveries and store all products in designated locations.
• Ensure inventory is dated and rotated per schedule.
• Inspect products for defects and damages upon receiving/shipping.
• Obtain signatures on paperwork and assist in customer pickups.
• Assist in inbound/outbound quality assurance processes.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment and order pickers.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and surrounding areas.
