Job summary

Socket.dev in Irving, TX is seeking a Warehouse Picker/Receiver who will lead by example and perform day-to-day tasks in line with company standards. You will load/unload inbound/outbound trucks, organize materials, and collaborate with the Tile Warehouse Manager on daily operations to keep our warehouse running smoothly.

This role requires lifting 50–75 lbs regularly, forklift and reach machine experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Availability to work Monday to Friday during 7:30 am - 5:00 pm.
• The ability to lift and move heavy boxes 50-75 lbs regularly.
• Knowledge and experience with forklifts and reach machines required; at least 1 year prior experience.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and ensure all projects and day-to-day work are performed in accordance with company standards.
• Work closely with the Tile Warehouse Manager on a daily basis.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trucks in a timely manner.
• Organize and put away material in designated locations.
• Communicate all material damage or inventory issues to the Tile Warehouse Manager.
• Pull customer orders onto consolidated pallets and wrap/band pallets for safe delivery.
• Assist in the container receipt process including unloading materials and making system inputs.
• Collaborate with the operations team on projects to improve overall operations.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
