Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to fulfill customer orders by retrieving and stacking product per a pick ticket, on a pre-determined conveyor or pallet. You will travel with a PIT pallet jack to move pallets and assist with warehouse tasks while maintaining safety and accuracy.

The role requires daily attention to safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a noisy, non-temperature controlled environment. Prior PIT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experience.
• PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Certification: Pallet Jack

Responsibilities

• Retrieves and places quantities of product onto a pallet as instructed by the pick ticket, ensuring safety, accuracy and efficiency.
• Traveles to and transports pallets using PIT equipment to different areas of the warehouse.
• Assists with warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Performs daily PIT Checklist and reports issues to management.
• Corrects mistakes as informed by the checker.
• Performs miscellaneous duties to support warehouse operations.
