Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Gretna, LA is hiring a Warehouse / Forklift Associate to support daily warehouse operations. You will operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, assist with receiving, picking, staging, and shipping, and maintain a safe, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Knowledge of standard warehouse receiving, shipping, and inventory practices.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move materials throughout the facility.
• Efficiently load and unload delivery trucks and freight carriers.
• Pick, stage, and prepare outbound inventory for shipment.
• Receive incoming stock, verify counts, and assist with put-away procedures.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Perform basic general warehouse duties as directed by management.
