Job summary

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, forklift operation, and computer literacy. You will also process express shipments via UPS and FedEx, unload trucks, verify counts, maintain stock, assist training, and keep a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience in shipping/receiving
• Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient with basic computer applications and Windows OS
• Experience operating stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be physically able to perform duties
• Must be able to work flexible hours and days

Responsibilities

• Fill parts orders for branches, customers and service department.
• Box, pack or crate parts for shipment and prepare shipping documents.
• Stage outgoing shipments, notify carriers and load trucks.
• Process high-volume express shipments (COD and credit card) via UPS/FedEx.
• Unload trucks, inspect freight and verify piece counts.
• Stock parts in designated areas and maintain stocking sequence.
• Assist in training new personnel and maintain department logs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and promote good welfare.
