Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred but not required.
• English language proficiency to follow spoken and written instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 40–50 pounds and work in a warm, humid environment.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of safe chemical handling and cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and separate linens and towels by type and condition.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment per procedures.
• Load/unload machines with appropriate water levels, temps, and chemicals.
• Inspect linens for stains or damage and apply stain-removal as needed.
• Fold, count, and stack clean linens for delivery to storage or guest areas.
• Monitor inventory and notify supervisors when stock is low.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and equipment.
• Assist housekeeping with linen distribution and changes as needed.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and PPE guidelines and report malfunctions.
