Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a driver/operator of company vehicles to provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages, and to perform related customer service tasks. This non-covered safety-sensitive position requires a neat appearance and a valid vehicle license for the assigned type.

Work shift: Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00am to 2:00pm. Part-time role with opportunities for additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to lift 50 Lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Good human relations and communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Responsibilities

• Driver/operator duties include delivery and pick-up of packages and courteous, efficient service.
• Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions.
• Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 of FMCSA.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
