Aspen Dental Hazleton is hiring an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to support dentists and hygienists in a fast-paced practice. You will perform chairside assistance, take radiographs, assist with procedures, sterilize equipment, and help manage patient flow while ensuring safety and compliance.

Requirements include active EFDA certification, radiography certification in Pennsylvania, current CPR/BLS, and 2+ years of dental assisting experience.

Qualifikationen

• Active Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification as required by PA.
• Active radiography (x-ray) certification as required by PA.
• Current CPR or BLS certificate.
• 2+ years' experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Proficient at chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.
• Demonstrate and provide instruction on sterilization and infection control.
• Maintain annual CE requirement as specified by state.
• State Certification in expanded functions as required by state.

• Assist dentists during treatment procedures.
• Support office team to maintain productive patient flow.
• Perform duties to help create lasting impressions and build trust with patients.
• Breakdown operatory rooms and prepare rooms for procedures.
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatory.
